Shun Hing College tutorial team has prepared a series of orientation activities to welcome new and returning residents to the college for the academic year 2016-17.

The program includes “get your necessities” activities, welcoming students to a yard sale organised by senior college students and taking new comers to shopping and cooking tours for the basics they need to settle down in Hong Kong.

The program also invites students to explore the Kennedy Town neighbourhood via the college’s signature project “Western District Stories” – setting students’ feet out in the community and produce illustrations and photographic works of the fast-changing Sai Wan.

Various sports and interest clubs in the college are taking this opportunity to attract new members by offering them the opportunity to join their first training and workshops.

New students to the college are invited to meet the college master, Professor Ying Chan, in the first week of the semester followed by a welcome party for everyone to make new friends for the upcoming college life together.

This is the second year for the four-year old college to have an orientation series.
