Mr Barry Kalb, a former lecturer at the HKU Journalism and Media Studies Centre, will be conducting a workshop on how to hone your English writing skills. Kalb has taught fundamental journalism reporting and writing skills to hundreds of JMSC graduates over his nine years with the faculty, and has more than 30 years on-the-ground experience as a journalist in America, Germany, Italy and Hong Kong.

The Shun Hing College A-Salon Spring Series – “Understanding Hong Kong” aims to invite a variety of speakers to offer their insights on Hong Kong society, culture, politics, arts, architecture, etc., as well as to encourage vibrant discussions among residents and the HKU community.
Are you interested in choral music? Do you enjoy organizing cultural events? Join the Schola Cantorum to learn music and make new friends!
Each resident will be given a free College t-shirt which you may proudly wear on the day (alternatively you may also come in your national costume), and these will be distributed on 4 and 5 February 2015 from 8 PM to 10:30 PM at 4/F lobby of Shun Hing College.
